This is a matte painting that initially started out as a practise piece, but I ended up taking it a lot further. I tried to really achieve a sense of scale and distance, as well as a somewhat mysterious feeling.

This, a basic stock for the sky and one texture have been all photomaterial that I used, other than that the paintbrush was my tool. It was completely done in photoshop.
